Comedic entrepreneur Tina Fey has written, “You can’t be that kid standing at the top of the waterslide, overthinking it. You have to go down the chute.”

I appreciate the wisdom of this quote. Looking back over the past eight years since launching our business, I can relate to the daunting view from the top of the waterslide.

I would add to Tina’s words by saying, “You can’t test the waters until you’re willing to take the plunge.”

Sometimes without goggles and a sensible pair of water wings.

While our experience in benefits enrollment and communication ran deep, it would take an entrepreneurial leap of confidence and commitment to dive into creating a business based on our belief that it could be done differently.

And better.

Putting a good idea into action has its rewards. We were convinced that by treating employers, carriers and brokers as partners, we could build a successful, collaborative business aimed at delivering innovative enrollment solutions.

We trusted in surrounding our core services with the talents of resourceful, experienced people passionate about their work and lives.

To make benefits enrollment and communication easier and more efficient, we offered cost-effective options, honed the latest technology and stayed focused on the human aspect of human resources.

Today, making a splash with our newly redesigned website, we’re not only gratefully afloat, but find ourselves racing down the rapids of an exciting future.

As we look ahead to even greater growth in the coming year, I invite you to look around our site. Discover who we are, what we do and why the people we work with seem to agree that EBC does it better.

No need to overthink. Just jump in and join us for the ride.
